The Ring and LOLA!

My Christmas present from Scott!

Lola-Raviola!

Scott gave me that ring after I got back from Texas! We would like to get married when Ashlynne is around 6 months old... we will probably go to the beach just us and elope. Neither of us want our families to spend money to get here for a wedding... we would rather save those visits for Ash.
And Lola in her chair this morning... and following me around. She is such a sweet girl!

Hospital Visit...and more!

Ashlynne's quilt from Grammy!
And Lola Keeping an eye on things!
Her Diaper bag from Uncle Stevey and Aunt Carla

Sleeper from Auntie Nikki, Uncle Sean and Cousin Taylor.
Thanks Nikki! I love it!

Blankey close-up

On Tuesday night at 12mid-night, I woke up with excruciating pain. I called Scott and he tried to coach me through a few things to try for the pain but it got to the point where I just needed to go to the ER. By the time I got to the ER, which was only about 10 minutes since its right across the neighborhood, I looked like I was going into labor. I was scared to death. Kidney stones never crossed my mind, although they should have since I had them 9 years ago.... anyway, they gave me a shot of Demerol and it eased the pain. They also did several blood tests and an exam. Thank God the baby was fine and it was in fact kidney stones. I got checked into a room at 6:30am and they did an ultra sound at 8am. There were 4 stones but only one that had descended near my batter.... anyway, over the next three days, they had me on massive fluids and pain meds but the darn things never passed. So, Scott and I spent three days "bonding"!
They decided Friday morning to send me home for the weekend, in hopes that some movement and continuing fluids would get it moving. Its Sunday and I haven't passed anything but a bunch of clear urine! If it hasn't passed by tomorrow, they will go in and remove it. Keep your fingers crossed!

On a lighter note, my mom finished Ashlynne's quilt for her crib. IT IS GORGEOUS! Thanks momma. Its beautiful! I cant wait to show the girls at work.... Lola thinks its her blankey! Here we go!!!!!!!!! I didn't even get her to pose for the picture. She is very interested in what is happening in the extra bedroom so she followed me in there to be nosey.... The colors are more vivid than the picture shows! I am so excited to get her nursery put together, which we are going to do this month!

ITS A GIRL!!!!!

Happy Expecting Parents
ASHLYNNE PEARL

The Tech said she was smiling!

Momma's Belly!

Well, its a girl! The ultrasound was really neat... she was rocking and moving! There was no holding still again today. She loves getting her picture taken, just like her momma! She has the sweetest face and was doing the sucking motion the entire ultrasound. It was way too sweet. I was sure she was a boy... and the Tech said, "I think its a........ (long pause) Um...... (another long pause) GIRL!" I asked if she was sure like 10 times! I cried.... Scott was smiling from ear to ear.
The doctor said she is going to be big! All of her organs, spine and size is great. IF all goes well with the delivery, we will be able to make a trip to Oregon at 6-8 weeks old. One day at a time though! He feels confident in his July 4th due date, although he thinks she will be early for some reason. We will see....
Couldnt be happier! I cant believe Im going to have a little girl and I have the privilege of being called mom. AND, the best part is she will be named after my grandma. I know she would be so excited! What an honor.
READY, SET, SHOP!!!!!!
P.S. She will be the coolest baby on the block with her baby BMW! Thanks granddaddy Jean!

4 Months Pregnant!!!

Here is a picture of me at about 3 months and 3 weeks pregnant! My assistant took my picture in our classroom, thus the Penguins. (thanks momma)! That is the crib we have chosen but it will be in cherry wood. Its beautiful and come to find out, its also my nephew's, Talyor Tot, crib but his is in black!
Still feeling good but have "blah" days here and there, like today! I am craving chocolate icecream, mexican food, apples and peanutbutter, vitimin waters and green beans! My hair is growing so long, so fast! I love it. I felt the baby move over the weekend. It was awesome. I told my dad and he said, "last I checked, that is a good sign." What a goober. Scott tells me everyday that Im beautiful and rubs my belly! Lola and I talk to the baby... I tell Lola that she is going to be the best big sister ever... she is ready! We are all really excited!
We go to the doctor tomorrow. Can't wait to see what this little bean is!

Hello Baby!

The baby at Week 12!

At our appointment the doctor said that the baby has a great heart and the organs are developing perfectly. The baby is measuring longer than average with a due date of July 4th, 2010. The next appointment is January 21st... more pictures to come! What a sweet sweet face!

Surprise Surprise!

We were thrilled to find out on Halloween of 2009 that we are expecting! Although I was told it would be difficult for me to conceive, it seemed to be more than easy! The baby is supposed to join us on July 4th, 2010, although the doctor predicts an early delivery. We have names picked out and are eagarly awaiting our next appointment on January 21, 2010.
