Stinky Feet!

Most nights when I take Ashlynne's socks off- I put her feet to my nose, sniff her feet and wave my hand... saying "Tinky Feet whoooooo" and she laughs and laughs. Well, last night it went a little differently. I took her socks off and SHE sniffed her own feet and did the hand while saying "Whoooooo Mama, Tinky feets". I thought Scott and I were going to die laughing. It was too funny. Then, of course, she did it again and again and again.

She has got so much personality. She also has a good bit of fire behind it too. She is protesting when she doesn't want to do something or give something up. Recently, Miss Talida, had to redirect her behavior and she fell to pieces, which I also see at home too. Sometimes wondering if that is a result of her being tired but she seems to be very sensitive.

She did the cutest thing Sunday. I was cleaning the bathroom when she came in and screamed, "Mama??" I looked at her and said "Yes Ashlynne?" and she said "Mama, Poo poo." Sure enough, she pooped and thought she needed to tell me. Of course, by the time I got her to her dad and told her to tell him, she wouldnt but then I told her to get a diaper. She walked all the way to her changing table, got a diaper and brought it back. She is so smart and so observant.

She loves to brush her teeth, sing, run, play and eat! She is a talker for sure! She says please and thank you- which is our latest accomplishment.

We are visiting Oregon on October 27th for Halloween! I am very excited and ready to see my family. Here are some pics! OH and we have her next pageant November 12th!!!!!

HEY! These pictures aren't very clear but YES, she is walking! She was taking uncontrolled steps on her birthday but last Sunday July10, she just stood up and walked! We were visiting my cousin Quinn and his new family in Newton. They have a very large living room and while we were "goo goo and ga ga" over the new baby, off she went! I am so excited for her.... for those of you who know our house: she walked from the living room, around the sectional, down the little hallway to her room with out falling! She's having a big time following me around the house, yelling "ma ma, ma ma". There is almost nothing sweeter. Nothing!

Just a very very short year ago, Ashlynne Pearl was born! I keep feeling like there is NO WAY she could be turning one but she is. She weighs 20 lbs, 27 inches long and wearing 6-9 month clothes (comfortably!) Some of the new things she loves is standing in her crib in the morning dancing and giggling away, feeding herself in her high chair, following Mommy everywhere, crawling up and down the hall way, going up and down the step in the kitchen (which she has mastered well) and playing little games she has made up that seems super entertaining! Pulling up on the couch and end tables are also new this month. Shes really starting to get around well, while still hanging on! She'll be walking in no time!

She smiles, laughs and gibber-jabbers constantly. Her favorite things to say are "ut oh", "mamma", "tank tu" (thank you) "bubba" and "dadda". She loves reaching for me with this sweet sweet smile, that you most definitely cant say no to! Yep, I said it! Lol. She sings and dances and acts like shes talking on the phone. This is funny..... I put her sippy cup out of her reach when she is eating. Recently, she started pointing at it when she wants a drink. The other day I told her to take one more bite and she could have it. she looked at me, put her bottom lip over the top and shook her head no, while still pointing at the cup. SO FUNNY! She is quite the character.

Her party was so much fun. As you can see, she had a Hello Kitty theme. Ashlynne was given lots of really neat toys and cute clothes. She was super blessed to have so many people there who love her and care about her. Most of Scott's family was able to come and all of our friends were there. We had a jumpy toy, an 8 foot by 30 foot slip and slide for the big kids and a few other things to do. All of the kids had a blast. Scott's Mom and Dad helped us get everything we needed and rented the jumpy toy. Leigh Ann helped me organize and think of everything we needed.... including the last minute errands. We couldnt have had the party we did with out their help. Thank you Shirley, Charles and Leigh Ann. We love you guys.

We had fun at Gage's birthday party! Ashlynne was SO ill though. She was really clingy all weekend and so she was a bear while we were there.... However, the blow up car was a big hit. At 11 1/2 months old, Ashlynne is 20 lbs and 27 inches tall. She can pull up (with a little help), push a little walky toy (with a little help there too!), recognizing things that are hers and things that are not! Lol. She is throwing little fits which are not fun! She wants to play in the floor and go up and down the step down into the kitchen. She is still eating everything completely mashed. Eating isn't something she gets reakky fired up about! She likes to lick it, touch it, smush it, smell it, put it in her mouth and then take it out... and still may not eat it after that! Yep. Shes a mess!

I was going to start weaning her this weekend but she isn't ready. She fussed and kicked and had a melt down when she thought she wasn't going to get "ninny" so I knew it wasn't time. I am ready for her to be done nursing but not really. I enjoy our time just as much as she does. I figured that when shes really ready, I will be too. :) I posted that on Facebook this weekend and got a lot of very reassuring thoughts from family and friends about their stories. Made me feel like she may NOT go to Kindergarten wanting Ninny!

She loves her mommy.... its the sweetest thing. (Dont get me wrong though- there are moments I wish she would go to someone while I finish something!) Since Scott has been working back in town, they have bonded really well. Only seeing him a couple times a month since she was 3 months old was a little strained for both of them. They play peek-a-boo- her favorite game! Its also helped that I am working a couple of evenings a week because they get to be home alone. That helps too because if I'm home, she wants me. But, like I said, that is slowly getting better.

I am working 5 days a week (3 part time jobs) sometimes 6 but she continues to love her babysitter. That is so great for me. I don't know what I would do if she struggled when I dropped her off. She does cry when I leave her if we've had a long weekend together or something like that but for the most part she does very well there.

To avoid buying baby food- I am starting to make her food. Its SO fun. I have had a really good time with it. We've done TONS of bananas, pears, sweet peas and pinto beans. Next I want to do sweet potatoes and squash. Its like 1/3 of the cost of baby food and it HAS to taste better. So far, shes totally digging it.

Aside from planning her bday party- shes just growing and developing into a sweet sweet little girl!

At nine months old, Ashlynne is 18 lbs, 25 1/2 inches tall and sweet sweet sweet! The doctor is not at all worried that she is so small- they say that she is just a little girl! She is starting to do sounds of letters like the letter "f" and "t"! She is thinking about pulling up... we're almost there on that! She knows where her toys are and looks for things in their places. Ashlynne is a bit particular! Yes. I have no idea where she got that! When she is happy, shes very happy but when shes mad, she is very mad! She likes Mama to pay her a lot of attention and sometimes just nurses for comfort. She loves being outside in her stroller, reading books and swinging in the morning while watching her movie!

I am starting to think about her first birthday party! Were going to do Hello Kitty First Birthday! Its very cute!

Hunter and Ashlynne! They are 7 weeks apart.... but the bestest buddies ever. They spend every day together at Miss Talitas. My little diva girl! She is getting SOOO fun guys. Im serious- shes so stinking cute and has a huge personality. Im amazed..... on a regular basis.

Ok, she is 16 lbs, which is only the 10th percentile but they aren't worried. Shes 24 inches long.

This month she started saying Mama, nana, baba, bubu and has mastered dada. She has figured out that peek-a-boo is a game and that your eyes are still behind your hands. She leans when someone walks around the corner- which is super cool. She is sitting up really well and starting to move from her bottom to her tummy but not from tummy to bottom yet. OH and we have two top teeth poking through. A sippy cup has become our friend. Finally making progress on the developmental chart! Opening cabinet doors, sitting up in the tub, trying to pull up, copying your laugh and sounds.... its too cute.

Ashlynne competed in her first pageant last weekend. Miss Crossroads pageant in Winona Mississippi. There were three babies in Ashlynne's category. She won her age division, Prettiest Eyes and Most Photogenic. We were so proud! I do have to say, I was much much much more calm as a contestant than a mom! I was a wreck! Ashlynne smiled and looked absolutely adorable. Now its off to the state pageant in July!

Chaney got first alternate in her age group, Prettiest Eyes and Miss Photogenic too! Our girls really did well.

Ears pierced and a lolly pop! Look out! I knew I was going to get her ears pierced but just hadn't decided when.... Friday seemed like a good day! We met Brittany at Claire's and as we sat down in the chair, the crowd started forming! YES. We had an audience!! She cried before we even got started so the lady asked if she could give her a lolly pop. She had never had one but there is a first for everything! Right? Right. After lining them up just perfect, the lady said, "One, two, three!" She cried as soon as they did it but was fine shortly after- thanks to the lolly pop. Shes a character! I'm cleaning and twisting several times a day but so far, they are healing nicely. They look perfect.....

Happy 7th Month!

Ashlynne is 7 months tomorrow, 15.5 pounds and 25 inches long! Her hair is coming in a light brown color and her eyes are crystal blue! Im loving her eye lashes! They are getting really thick and dark. She is still nursing every feeding, with the addition of solids at lunch and dinner! I know some kids live for those solids but not Ashlynne! She will eat it when its in front of her but its not a must... still a "ninny" baby! She sleeps all night and will nap sometimes. She goes through phases. She LOVES the movie Cat in the Hat. (with Mike Meyers) We watch it over and over and over again! The excersaucer is also not a "must have". We enjoy the swing in the mornings, with one helping of Cat in the Hat (sometimes two!)

Ashlynne has the best personality. Toys that make noise and light up, fleese blanket, cheers, Lola, Momma, standing/bouncing, dvd player in the car and Cat in the Hat are some of our "must haves". She loves to take a bath and play Peek-a-boo. Entertaining herself is not her strong suit! Momma stays very busy! She will sit and watch kids play. It looks like shes just gonna take off running! I think shes going to love to play with other kids. Even now, she will laugh when they play with her and flap her little arms. Its very cute.

She definitely knows what she wants! (wonder where she got that?) She lets me know, very quickly, efficiently and with plenty of punch, when she is happy, sad, mad, hungry, wet and ready for bed. Sweet sweet sweet baby.

She had two bouts of ear infections (in both ears) and a viral infection with a nasty cough this month. They almost hospitalized her last Thursday for observation. She ran a fever 3 days in a row of 102 at noon. It was the oddest thing. I was always able to get it to come down but it was still scary. Babies being sick is not fun for anyone! Were still battling the croopy sounding cough and feeling crummy but overall, no more fevers.

We are preparing for her first pageant February 5th! She is wearing an adorable teal blue dress with lots of foo foo and glitz. You should see her face light up when I put the dress on her. Oh, she is a natural. I can already tell! Mommy is practicing the hold, so you see the dress and baby... not Mommy! Im sure when the lights hit her and we're in front of everyone, she will light up like a little fire cracker. Its going to be very fun. Those pics to come! Keep your fingers crossed that she wins her age group! I hope so!!!!

Ashlynne is almost 5 months! Can you believe it? She is getting really long! I think she grew the night before last! I woke up and I swear she was longer! Anyway, we had a great weekend with Scott. He had to work in Alabama, so we decided to stay with him since he couldn't come home. We went out for a steak dinner Saturday night. It was so good. Ashlynne was really happy and content. She started taking a morning nap while we were there. We'll see if we can keep that up! She can be a fickle little thing! (no idea where she got that!)

We are looking forward to our trip to Oregon the first week of December. Scott will get on an airplane for the first time! Our family will celebrate Christmas Sunday morning. Everyone will get in their Christmas jammies Saturday night and wake up to Santa. Very excited!

Nursing is still going so well. I have decided not to start solids until she is 6 months old, per suggestion from her doctor. Since she is happy and satisfied with just milk, they suggest to wait on solids as long as you can. I would love for my mom to get to be part of the introduction of solids so we will give her rice cereal when were in Oregon, so my mom can be part of it. That should be really fun!

My Letter to You!

Dear Ashlynne,

Hi honey. This is your mother speaking! I have been thinking for quite some time about this letter to you. I have gone back and forth about how to format this letter. I have decided to put it into promises.

Promise #1.... I promise to keep you safe.
Its true, what they say. You won't understand unconditional love, until you have a child of your own. I have always had strong motherly instincts but when I saw your sweet face, I knew what it meant to be a mother. Your mother. Each mother has those instincts for her child and her child only. Therefore, it is my job, as your mother, to keep you safe. I promise I will protect you from dangerous people, unstable situations, and unsafe places to the best of my ability. Sometimes you wont understand and sometimes I will be protecting you from yourself! I will teach you how to recognize, understand and follow your instincts and how to be a great judge of character.

Promise #2.... I promise to love you unconditionally.
There is nothing in this entire world that could make me not love you. I won't always like what you do or the decisions you make but I will always love you. Because you are my child and I am your mother, we will have a bond that will not ever be compromised. I love you more than any mother has ever loved her baby and I make it my promise to always make sure you know.

Part of unconditional love is also teaching you what love isn't. You are surrounded by people who love you so much and who show you love in healthy ways. My hope is that you will witness plenty of healthy marriages in your life time which will draw you to someone who also shares our family values.

Promise #3.... I promise you will not always like me.
This one may seem odd but if I'm doing my job as your mother, you will not always like me. Discipline is something your dad and I promise to give you. Children who are well disciplined are pleasant to be around, respect themselves and others, and obey their parents. Its not my job to be your best friend or your buddy. Its my job to maintain our mother-daughter relationship. You will have a million friends in your life time but only one mother!

Promise #4.... I promise I will help you be the happiest, most successful person possible.
Part of being successful, fulfilled and happy means you have to learn tough lessons and suffer failure sometimes. Although, you might think I'm going to say that I will save you from it but that, my love, is where you are wrong. Disappointment is one of those emotions that parents want to save their children from but its one of the most valuable feelings you can feel. When you feel disappointed, you also feel motivation to solve the problem. I want you to be what ever you want, when you grow up. If you are happy, then I will be happy for you.

My last promise is.... if you trust in God, He will always take care of you. I promise you will believe in Jesus Christ and I promise He will lead you in a life of greatness.

I love you more than this letter could ever explain. Your dad and I wanted to be your parents, dreamed of you and talked about you before you were ever even thought of. And when I found out you were coming, my life really began. The catch is.... I am telling you what I will do you for you but what you did for me, was far far far greater. I will forever be grateful for your life. No matter how old you are, no matter how smart you are and no matter where we are.... I will always be your mom!

We had so much fun with our friends on Halloween! My mom bought Ashlynne's outfit, shoes and pom poms. Ashlynne got tons on compliments on how cute she was. We trick-o-treated around Sturgis and then went to see Scott's parents. By about 8:00, Ashlynne was done but she had so much fun while it lasted. Scott is working in AL but came home right before we walked out to the door and had to get up at 5:00 am to head back but he wasnt going to miss his little girl's first Halloween! Thanks for coming home daddy!

Ashlynne has a very cool toy that projects video on her ceiling. The toy is a bear that lights up and straps to the inside of her crib. It has a button on the front that turns the projector on! Anyway, now that she is reaching and grabbing things, she is able to touch the bear! When she plays with the bear, she also turns the music and projector on. Its so neat. We hear it go on and off at different times in the night and morning. For the first time today, her daddy heard it go off and thought that I went in and turned it on! He thought I was exaggerating when I told him she was doing it... much to his surprise, she did it all by herself!

She is also half way rolling over! She rolls over from her back to her side! Just a little further and she will be on her belly! She isn't crazy about "tummy time" but we do it anyway! She most defiantly doesn't want to recline on her back! She is ready to sit straight up. Another cute thing she is doing now is scooting. When she is laying on her back, she gets her feet going and it pushes her backwards. She can move her entire body length in NO TIME!

She sucks in her sleep too but she still wont take a binky! I guess she is sucking her imaginary bink!

Ashlynne had a big time today or should I say, the girls had a big time with her! Layton, Scott's friend's son celebrated his first birthday today. It was a lovely party and the weather was perfect. Layton's sister Heagan and her friend Tristen loved up on Ashlynne. They are going to be great baby sitters some day! Thanks for having us and Happy Birthday Layton!

We enjoyed our time with the Morgans tonight! And, once again, we had to try one of Hunter's toys and YEP, she loved it! You cant see here but her little feet were dangling! Leigh Ann had to get a pillow so she could touch and a blanket rolled up behind her to make her fit.... super cute.

Mile Stones!

Miss Ashlynne's 3 month mile stone is upon us! She will be three months old next week and boy can I tell! It has been so neat to watch her grow and develop! Although I was a nanny in college and did more babysitting than I can remember as a teenager, its not the same as watching your own. My husband and I were blessed with some opportunities that have allowed me to stay home these first few months. It has been amazing to watching this little one grow and I have done so with great intensity, curiosity and total amazement. I haven't missed a single second.

Her first major accomplishment right now is we are out of newborn clothes!!!!!!! She is officially a big girl now. She is approaching the 12 pound mark! I can tell how much she weighs based on her diapers. The number one diapers are getting too small, so its on to number twos... which in turn means were up to 12 lbs! So far, she isn't ahead and isn't behind... were right on time!

We went to dinner at the Morgan's house Friday night and had a great time, as usual. Hunter, who is 7 weeks older than Ashlynne, was sitting in his Bumbo for a little while. Since she is doing so awesome at holding her head up, I put her in it for about 3 minutes and she did super! It wasn't long before her little neck was tired, of course, but while she was sitting she seemed happy! Bumbo Time!

Her biggest accomplishment this last week is she is starting to grab for her toys! She has two favorites.... her elephant that sings and lights up on her car seat and her wrist rattles. We were headed to Starkville Wednesday and I heard some crinkling... I looked back and she had reached for her wrist rattle! I almost cried. I thought, Oh my. Next thing you know, she'll be reaching for car keys and asking to borrow the car! I was so proud! Our developmental milestones are passing us by!!

We have a really great in-home day care for Ashlynne. Miss Talita has been watching children in her home for 13 years. My employer decided they couldn't accommodate my work schedule a week before I was to return, so we had to decide what to do about our spot. Being that Miss Talita came so highly recommended and her prices are SUPER great AND I would be returning to work by the first of the year, Ashlynne started 3 days a week when we returned from Oregon. Until this week, she was happy while there and was even napping (which doesn't normally happen at home). Thursday Miss Talita called and said Ashlynne was inconsolable. I hurried to her house and when I arrived, I could hear Ash crying from outside. I walked in, very concerned and scooped her up! Much to our surprise, she looked at me and SMILED!!!!!! I have concluded the problem was two-fold.... a tummy ache and wanting her momma!!!!!! Little Stink! Needless to say, she is starting to really watch me and stick out that little lip when she wants to be held. Most definitely a mommas girl! (Don't get me wrong though... she LOVES her daddy too!)

She has found her voice and its very cute... a little raspy. Her changing table has some kind of special powers because that is where she does the most talking. Actually, I think its because its perfect distance for her to focus and see who has her. She loves it when I sing to her. I didn't know that my other job title would be song composer! We make up songs all day! Its glorious. I love it.

She sleeps all night and has done so since she came home from the hospital. That is heavenly. We have a great night-night routine. It just kind of happened over a period of time and its how we do things! Breast feeding is still going well. I had a scare last weekend, thinking my milk was drying up.... and it was, thanks to the benedryl I took for a wasp sting. OOOPS! I lost more than half my supply. Wont do that again! The histamine will dry your milk, FYI! All is well now. I took an herbal supplement to get it going again. I would have been DEVASTATED, to put it mildly, if I wouldn't have recovered from that mistake but we did!

Scott and I are great. We are adjusting well to our new addition. Thanks to nursing and walking, Im losing the baby weight! There is still a good bit to be lost, but it feels good to have my "BIG" clothes getting lose.

Oh! Last but not least... I think we are on the brink of teething. She was super fussy two days in a row, so I thought to give her teething tabs just to see if that soothed her and it did. So, we may have a tooth in a month or so....

Ash loves her little play thing... she doesnt love tummy time but were working on that! Aunt Aleah gave us this toy! She poked herself in the eye really hard! She didn't open it for hours afterwords. Poor thing... we had an appointment the next day for the reflux so I asked if she hurt it... he said it was scratched but she would heal. Its all better now! Bless her heart!

We made it home from our trip to Oregon! We had a blast but were glad to be home. Daddy awaited us anxiously!!!!!!!!!! I thought he was going to kiss this baby's face off when he saw her! I got the left-overs! LOL. She did great on the flights, sleeping the whole way. I didn't sleep, of course but she did, so that's all that matters!

When we got home from Oregon, the Sturgis Bike Rally was underway. Saturday, we spent the day at the pond with daddy, while he worked the rally. We had a really good time and she even got her first Harley Davidson outfit!

Ashlynne has been a bit of a fussy baby and I felt like something wasn't right but chalked it up to her being a new born. She had been projectile spitting up, swallowing excessively and a variety of other odd little habits, so I decided enough was enough and took her to the doctor. Turns out she has acid reflux. She is a different child on the medicine! Poor baby! My mommy instincts were right... I knew something wasn't quite right. Anyway, in one day we saw a huge improvement! Not to mention, she gained a pound since her shots on 8.5.10! 10 lbs, 8 oz. now.

Although I'm not working right now, we are keeping our spot at daycare. She is going 3 days a week so I can actively look for a job and help Scott with the business. Ashlynne started on Thursday and LOVES her baby sitter Miss Talita. I was nervous about how she was going to do, mostly because she can be so fussy but to mommy's amazement, the little rascal did great! Thanks to the medicine and her babysitter, she is napping during the day! One big 3 hour nap in the morning is making her a much happier child. Miss Talita has 5 other children she watches. Our buddy Hunter Morgan (Leigh Ann's baby) and 4, yep, FOUR 2 year olds! Surprisingly enough, its a very calm environment and they all nap at the same time... amazing. Better her than me! Miss Talita has fallen in love again, she said! As a mother, the most precious thing is your new born baby. The thought of leaving the baby with someone you don't know is scarier than being chased with a butcher knife but having someone like her is a breath of fresh air!!!! We love you Miss Talita.

I think thats about all we have going on.... OH and Lola did great while we were in Oregon. She did miss us a bunch!

We had an amazing day! My mom threw the best baby shower ever. After everyone arrived, we had lunch and visited. Mom made chicken, strawberry salad. It was so good. Joanne brought a really good pasta salad. Turkey pin wheels and more! We opened gifts and boy did Ashlynne make out like a little bandit. She got beautiful clothes and lots of cool gadgets! We were so blessed to have so many great friends and family there. My cousin Sheila and her family were here... cousins Laura, Anne and Olivia from CA. Then Saturday morning Cousin Jillian came. All these people to welcome the arrival of our baby! So cool. Thank you guys! Jacki, Jennifer, Jill, Shanna, Kimme, Jodi, Jenica, Rachel, Mandy.... thank you for spending the day with us. It was nice to have you there. AND, you were super generous!

Joan Walker and Joanne, my mom's friends and Nikki, my sister-in-law did a lot to help my mom prepare. You guys were heaven sent! Thank you.

Ashlynne did so well during the shower. She slept the entire time and people held her! Kimme and Shanna were the baby hogs! LOL.

So, after is was all said and done, my mom did it again. Just so wonderful. Words dont come close to describing the commitment my mom makes to her kids and grand kids. Taylor and Ashlynne are very very lucky. I love you mom. And thank you again for being the best mom ever.

On the airplane! Well, we left Sturgis a little later than planned and made it to the airport in Memphis with 45 minutes to spare! Daddy walked us in and kissed us bye bye. Ashlynne did totally awesome on the airplane but HATED the airport. She didn't nap all day long! She was bright eyed but not bushy tailed! Anyway, this pic was taken on the plane from Colorado to Portland. Each flight we were lucky enough to have an empty seat! She was chillen in the middle seat for about 30 minutes. I think the noise and little bit of turbulence was good for her!

OH, but she did poo poo every where on the first flight! I was holding her and this lady came up saying what a pretty baby she was! I thanked her and RIGHT THEN, I realized I had poo running down my hands! It was Lovely! Anyway, everyone was so so so nice! Complete strangers offer to help! So, there is some decency left in this world!

Grammy and Papa picked us up. Baby had a bow in here hair... looking pretty for Papa. It was awesome. Meme got to see her last night too. She got teary-eyed at one point. Its been a great first 12 hours! Much much much more to come!

We miss you daddy!!!!!! Dont worry, we be home soon! MUAH!

PS. The only bink she will take is this blue one! At least it has a heart on it.

I mean really? Is that not the cutest face ever?????

Her first smiles caught on camera! She has been smiling for about 2 weeks now but these I just took Saturday the 7th of August. She is wearing an outfit from her Uncle Charlie! Every once and a while we get a yelp that kinda sounds like a laugh... She loves hearing her name and the song "were going to chapel and were, gonna get married". Another thing that makes her smile is when I say like an announcer "And the new Miss Mississippi IS.. ASHLYNNE PEARL ARNEY!" Loves that too. Her daddy can make her laugh when he kisses her neck. I think its the wiskers but we wont tell him that! She loves the sound of her daddy's voice. Oh my.

Sneeky Face....

Had her 2 week appointment last week. She is 7 lbs and 7 oz! The doctor was thrilled that she gained her birth weight back, plus 6 oz. We are doing really awesome. She is sleeping for 5 and 6 hours a night! I am loving this time. Its really fun. Trying not to go back to work. We'll see. Making a trip to Oregon for a visit on August 8th! Yahoo!
